More from this weekend

We've had back to back weekends of walking Saturday and Sunday. Last weekend we did a route very loosely based on the Wharfedale Marathon and this weekend a there and back from Heptonstall - Ponden - Heptonstall . Our new Wild Country Coshee 3 tent is a good (cheap) compromise between weight and room. A big thank you to John at the Old Silent for being the perfect landlord on Saturday evening

More from Northumberland

Bank Holiday in Northumberland

We had a smashing Bank Holiday weekend camping in Northumberland. Beach walks, locally (micro) brewed beer, rock pooling, fish and chips plus sea fishing for pollock were all very much on the agenda

Bank Holiday in Coniston

We spent the weekend at Coniston camping with Tuss. It was our first trip under canvas and he was fantastic. We've been missing out on running since we got the dog (he's still too young to run) so it was lovely to catch up with KCAC pals including James and Milly
