A Sunday in Lakeland

We've had two Sundays on the trot (pardon the pun) in Lakeland with Martyn and Helen. Tussock is up to seven Wainwrights bagged nowith and he loves the fells. Stef and I are just thrilled to be back out on the hill at last

Sunday night run out

We left my car in Ilkley last night after beer in the Flying Duck and (excellent) food in the Thailand restaurant across the road. Tonight we ran over to fetch it and thankfully remembered both the car key and the key for the house

We dropped in town on a track I'd never even noticed never mind ran before. It took us into Middleton village, where the bluebells are coming out in the woods. More local exploration needed me thinks

Longest run in a long time

Stef, Tussock and I ran over nine miles yesterday with the Prices from home. It was a perfect day for a run out; Tussock's longest ever, and me and Stef's furthest in a long time. Thankfully the floods had abated making it possible to return via the Dales Way

Martyn showed us his latest UTMB video and we had fun planning and scheming all kinds of plans. Martyn seems quite keen on the Frog Graham, while I spent a bit too much time looking at the PTL footage
